That's far too much work for all of the libraries I have s I definitely think this needs improving. I raised it on the NI forums to request the option to rename the KK instances so that I can find them but I was offered the solution of saving every non-NKS library as a snapshot instead. You can use the instance button on the keyboard to swap instances but I have a problem where any non-NKS Kontakt library/instrument gets given a name of "Komplete Kontrol" (or something generic like that) so I can't tell which is which. Reaper isn't a supported DAW for track focus so I have to click the keyboard icon in KK every time I swap tracks which involves opening up KK every time. Yeah, although I always run the standalones every time I add a new library anyway so never really stood out as an issue.Ĥ.

It's nice on one hand to just focus on the main GUI but I find I swap to full view a fair bit.ģ. Would be great if there was a preference to set that. Yeah, they seem fixed but I've never thought of it as a problem for me as they're categorised by type and stack four across so there's not a great deal of scrolling to do (depending on how many libraries you have of course).Ģ. After all, the light guide is probably the main reason to use Komplete Kontrol (or NI's keyboards for that matter). This could be lack of support for NKS in Studio One, but you think they could have engineered it so this would be automatic. When I switch to another track, the light guide doesn't change (while the instrument I'm playing does).

It only shows the light guide for the LAST patch I've loaded. Unless you remember to run Komplete Kontrol outside of your DAW, it doesn't know about any newly added libraries. The plugin GUI loads in a sort of 'collapsed' mode where I always have to click the + button to see RAM usage etc. Maybe it's not an issue if you use templates but if you're constantly adding tracks, it's a PITA. Komplete Kontrol doesn't let me move my favorite libraries to the top (like Kontakt does) so it's extra navigation to get to a library. Still waiting.I own an NI S88 and I'm not finding any advantage to using Komplete Kontrol plug-in over Kontakt. And is strange but my 6.4.0 version posted by Sunny August 26 is still working full time.

You can also update the one's you have if they show in "available uptates". The libraries will show demo when installed in Native Access but they are fully unlocked in Kontakt Full Options. You will see all the libraries in installed products, clic on demo/reinstall. Open Native Access, or Library manager in kontakt, Include the"Add Library.exe" tool used for external librairies. Run Kontakt_Library_Enabler x86 or 圆4 to enable the download via Native Access.
